Analysis of the dominant factors causing cost overrun in building construction projects

In building construction projects there are 3 factors that used to measure project performance, one of which is cost. Efforts can be made minimize the cost overrun knowing causative and how mitigate them. The purpose this study identify factors, determine dominant causing overrun, efforts methodology in research desk or uses relevant secondary data analysis, such as previous with similar problems. results were 65 divided into 10 groups. factor overruns includes material, implementation employment relationships, documents, finance groups, them fluctuations material prices. Mitigation have been obtained for factor, namely quality control field must good, selection professional workforce, good relations between parties.
